Mr Almeyda was kind and listened to the problem I had. He suggested to me a way of helping me and I'm looking forward to the outcome.

I found Mr Robert Almeyda to be a very caring Doctor who listened to my problems and answered questions in a detailed and sympathetic way. He made me feel at ease and confident in his ability to operate and to diagnose the problems he found and what he intended to do, based on the biopsy results. He also saw me after the operation and asked me how I was and explained very carefully what he had done and why. While I have no treatment concerns at all and I can understand that patiants have to be prioritised according to need, I was concerned, especially as I live in Gloucestershire and need to leave home at 6am, that block bookings mean a very long wait for both the patient and the person taking you home, if the operation is delayed until 4.30pm, as mine was. Is it not posible to grade the patients into morning and afternoon operations, or even into three sessions? Regards, John Krouse.

Mr. Almeyda explained very thoroughly, yet concisely, how the procedure was to be carried out. He did this in a friendly and professional manner. During the procedure, under local anaesthesia, he explained every step of the process with a very caring approach. This really helped put me at my ease and, amazingly, made the whole thing quite enjoyable! Thank you, Mr. Almeyda!

Mr Almeyda is extremely kind to my old mum. She is 94 yrs old and has always had difficulty hearing. Without his care my mum would be almost completely deaf which would make her days very lonely. She has lost her mobility and lives in a care home so being able to chat to the other residents and staff is vital. Mr Almeyda understands this and even has to kneel to use the microscope as my mum can't be moved to the examination table. I'm sure it very uncomfortable but he persists until he has done a great job. I am so grateful to him and so is my mum. Thank you Mr Almeyda
